Hello to everyone who's reading this! At the moment, I don't have any main page to show you, so take this post as an "about me" page until I make a template that I like and put everything where it should be.

The last week I was on finals, only thinking about what I'm going to write here, just waiting to end the last exam on Friday and get free to start this. Things happend and now it's Friday, but of the other week, and I forgor everything (EDIT: Ok so I wrote this in december, upsi). It's quite funny how much I have been thinking about this and now I don't know how to start, so let's make some questions to help me begin the post:

Jaeger, Jaeger! Why you're making a blog? why Neocities?
FREEDOM USER, FREEDOM! I'm a software engineering student with 4 years of career behind me, and I'm so tired of the approach of webs and applications nowadays. Everything is so plastic, artificial, and standardized with the only goal of making a profit, exploiting any psychological trick, always listening to the phrase "It's more appealing to the people, so it needs to be like that". This is the way they're teaching us. All the designs? The same. It's not about the usability and accesibility; it's about making things look like others because "it works", but it doesn't work because people can understand the flow of the application; it works because they are used to seeing the same thing everywhere. It's something that I have to do every day at college or work and it's exhausting. I didn't have the opportunity to be in the old part of the internet with blogs. It wasn't something that I cared for at that moment, but now I understand the appeal of it. I love entering a new page and seeing a bunch of colors, images. All with the personality of the person that took some of their time to develop something where they express themselves and do whatever they want. It's like entering their own world and see what they do, what they think, and man, I love that. I want to have my own space too, write anything that's in my mind, put things wherever I want and not have to worry about styles. That freedom is what I was looking for, and I think Neocities is a good place to start with other people doing the same.

Funny thing is that it's not the main reason for this blog, JA JA! . Don't get me wrong, it's important too, but it's one of the things that came over with the actual reason for all of this: Learn English.
- sigh -... yes, that's why. My mother tongue is Spanish and with the major that I choose it's ESSENTIAL to have a good level of english. It's a requirement everywhere. I cannot say that I have a B1 level or something, but I can understand a lot of things; I can watch whole series in English, play games in the language. A lot of input, but output? eeeeh...
And that's a problem. The best way to learn is MAKING. That phrase is true but without lying, if you try to make a book with everything that I wrote through all my years of English classes and any interaction online that wasn't in Spanish, your book is going to be 5 pages long. That bad is the situation.

Along with the language thing, I have another problem: I'm a machine that represses emotions and transforms them into more emotions to suppress. I have the opportunity to have a few groups of friends, but sometimes I find it hard to talk with them about some things, about how I feel, my opinion about this and that. There are some topics that they don't know anything about, but I'm crazy to talk about. So seeing other people's blogs here in Neocities it's like, YES, I want to do the same thing, whole 5 long paragraphs about something that I watch, or something that happened yesterday, anything.

So, what you're going to talk about in the blog?
Really kind of you to ask, little user. Well, about everything. Probably about what's happening in my life, a tweet that I read after lunch, the fatass cat that sleeps in the roof of its house. I know this is very vague, so let me mention some things that I like, and I'm probably going to bring up a lot:

- Formula One baby let's gooo After more than 15 years without watching the category, me and my dad are back!. I was raised with Sunday races when I was a kid, but it stopped after some years. Then, we watched Abu Dhabi 2021 and it was a none stop for us. There's always a conversation about the next race, about the new rules, the hell was RB doing with the car the first part of the 2025 season, and when we are going to attend the GP of São Paulo.

- Videojogos JA JAJ! I mean, do you need an explanation? Everyone likes video games now. You like video games, I like video games. I love Zelda; I hope you love Zelda. I have some games to finish right now, A LOT to play and some opinions about a few of them. The normal things that you say when you talk about vide games.

This is everything I'm going to talk about? Obviously not, you dummy! But if you have some interest in any of those things, stick around.

Another thing that we need to know?
I swear this is not going to be index.html forever. I had a design before, but after some months without working on it and then coming back to see what I had to finish, was like, hell I don't like it anymore, but I want to start making posts. What I can do now?. This was the best option for me, no pressure, only a blog section and nothing more. My plan is to write every day, practice, practice and PRACTICE! but that doesn't mean a daily post or something. I have a few ideas about specific things that I want to write about. I don't check that direction very often, but I'm going to be really happy if you write something for me.
